Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome! I hope you had a great summer and I hope you are ready for a wonderful year. My name is John Katsigiorgis and I will be your child's 7th grade English teacher. Our focus for this year will be to help your children become better writers, readers, and become aware of social issues facing our world today. Another vital component of our class will focus on increasing our vocabulary knowledge and creating a culture of reading at school and home.
